In 1924 Mr Fortunato Bianchi founded the Bianchi company in Chiasso. After the Second World War, with the recovery of the international traffic flow, Mr Adolfo Segmüller took over the company and he successfully directed it since the beginning of the 80ies. Later on, due to age-limit, Mr Segmüller handed over the management of the company to Mr Enzo Cantelli for the Swiss headquarters and to Mr Mario Pittorelli for the activities in the Italian headquarters of the group. The history of the Bianchi company is marked by a growing business.
Nowadays the Bianchi Group has about 300 members of the staff and an annual turnover which amounts to more than 60 million Euro. The companies of the group rely on a steady collaboration made of consolidation and specialization; they are about to tackle new important experiences, also considering the entrance of Switzerland in the EU.
At any level and in any headquarter, many members of the staff have with a long-lasting working experience and an harmonious collaboration, so that the Bianchi Group can enter the international markets with a modern and dynamic image, oriented to the future, but tuned with the present days. Actually it is responsive and ready to always faster changes of the competitors and the industrial world, as well as of the Swiss and Italian Public Administrations.

1924
Foundation of the Company
1946
Reopening of the borders and recovery of the traffic flow. BIANCHI & Co. SA specialized in the traffic of the luxury Swiss watches, fabrics, precious stones and noble metals.
1951
Opening of the premises in Milan.
1960
BIANCHI Chiasso worked with an Italian-Swiss traffic of fabrics, machines and all the industrial products from and to   all over the world. Then it started the import/export air and sea freight at the Zurich airport and later on at the airport in Lugano-Agno and at the ports in Genoa and Rotterdam.
1977
Opening of a small office in Ponte Chiasso, Italy, Bianchi & C. SRL.
1980
Transfer of the Italian office at the TIR center in Montano Lucino (CO), beginning of the international truck traffic  flow.

Enlargement of the premises in Milan. This company started the truck traffic flow, in particular from and to England. Later on the company dealt with transport of express packages and sea/air forwarding
1989
Bianchi Chiasso developed the organization of the transport of valuable goods opening BIANCHI Valenza SRL in Valenza Po (Alessandria), famous Italian jewel market.

In order to increase the security level, BIANCHI Chiasso founded ValBIANCHI  SRL with offices in Montano Lucino (CO). This company has an armoured vehicle fleet and it offers the best guarantee for the transport of valuable goods.

BIANCHI & C. SRL in Montano Lucino (CO) implemented the activity and with the opening of BIANCHI & SELVA, it bought a truck fleet and it became an international carrier, which can guarantee an optimal service on the existing traffic lines.
1996
Opening of the first warehouse of BIANCHI & C. SRL in Cernobbio (CO) used for the logistic activities, which would give a great contribution to the present development of the company.

Enlargement of the logistic activity in the offices in Grandate (CO).
2000
BIANCHI Chiasso opened a branch in Colombier (Neuchâtel) to meet the needs of the regular clients who produce watches, as a logistic platform in the western part of Switzerland.

BIANCHI & C. SRL opened a commercial office in Padua, first step towards a further enlargement in the North East.

Opening of the new premises of BIANCHI & C. SRL in Casnate (CO).
2004
Opening of the Bianchi Air-Sea-Freight Srl, specialized in the air and sea transport.
2005
Opening of the new premises of Bianchi & Co. Sa in Novazzano (Chiasso), 3.300 square meter warehouse and 2.000 square meter offices.
2006
Opening of Bianchi Asia in Hong Kong and Shanghai, jointly with a Chinese company.
2006
Enlargement of the premises in Casnate, opening of new offices and warehouses, which doubled the operational ability of these premises.
2008
Opening of the branch in Olten (Switzerland).

Opening of the new logistic warehouse in Montano Lucino, 15.000 pallet positions.
• Introduction of the new JIT (Just in Time) service: express service with secured fast deliveries to the main European destinations.
